Oh, diane...so great! I absolutely loved the baseball scene--could see David jumping up and down--as well as the first scene with Brick. Fun to see David get possessive. And the mood ring...in the moonlight...sigh. Just perfect! Another home run from you!

I think I did it again...a hasty conclusion about the due date... I should have known it is still Scorpion, not Sagittarius. But I am not disappointed at all, in fact I had quite a great time reading a very romantic story of David and Maddie. I am soooo satisfied now! Their ring talk is fabulous. I love the way Maddie serenely explains about the meaning of ring and how David reacts to it. She has a point and I feel her admiration for the ring and his desire and hesitation in giving her it right away. I love that they move forwards carefully considering how to make the other happier. And when I read the epilogue, I felt like, as the title said, David and Maddie met at the sweet spot again. This is an absolutely beautiful scene telling a lot of their amazing romance. By the way, I used to enjoy baseball game on TV when I was young with my big baseball fan father, and I was surprised to know the current Phillies' team manager is Mr. Manuel. I remember he was once the strongest home run hitter in Japanese baseball and won many titles such as MVP. Every pitcher was afraid of him very much, he helped greatly his team to win Japan Championship Series and was popular among baseball fans at the time! It was a long time ago... Thank you Diane for such a fantastic episode! You made my week again!

Thank you ladies. You know I had a good time combining two of my greatest loves.
Yoko, thanks so much for the information on our Charlie Manuel. I knew he played in Japan but didn't realize that he was a big star! We love him here in Philadelphia too. And I like you watched baseball with my Dad....see all the wonderful things we have in common!!

Thank you, Diane! Yes, Mr. Manuel was a big star and is a memorable batter among the old fans. I am happy for him that he became a great team manager of such a great team in The Major Leagues! And I suppose your father is also a big baseball fan and have shared a lot of wonderful things of baseball with you. It is very sweet! I stopped watching baseball after my Dad passed away. It was a shame but I just felt too sad at that time because he wasn’t there. But I am fine now and actually started watching baseball again a year ago. I agree baseball is one of the wonderful sports with lots of drama, excitement and dreams which involve the huge number of people!!!

Very nice job, Diane. Those two have a lot on their minds, don't they? And you always do a fabulous job of telling us what's going on in their noggins!! Love relating to David's feelings in the baseball scene...sometimes I hate baseball, too! ....ok, not really ...but you know what I mean! The talk of rings in the moonlight makes my knees weak...a perfectly painted picture.
