Another beautiful and fun episode, Jen! I really like the motif (at least I think of) of this episode. I was very intrigued to read how Mary is going to choose the one. Weighing pros and cons? …No, there is a big surprise!!! ;D And when she feels it is kismet to see him, she straight follows her heart. I couldn’t help but compare her to old Maddie where Maddie asks her how she felt like. But of course Maddie doesn’t say “how convenient!” this time. I think she has already known how to be happy and she also appreciates that David brings this happy ending. I enjoyed the scenes where Bert is really trying to be a dedicated father, almost struggling, poor Bert. And when the David’s dream sequence begins, I can clearly see their endless struggle, those scenes are visual and very funny but also I feel love and caring, warm-heart of the fathers. Finally, as I felt so bad for Magillicuddy in Lunar Eclipse, I am glad he gets a girl. He deserves happiness, too and I hope for him not to divorce this time! Thank you Jen, such a heartwarming episode! I can’t wait the next one!

Great job Jen! Your episodes always sound like the original ones to me! I just wish I could see David and Maddie's faces on the tv screen, instead of imagining them, but your descriptions are so well written that I can really forget the fact that I'm just reading about them... Keep on writing, please! A big hug from Italy!

Well Jen I have already commented on how wonderful this episode was on the Moonlighting boards...but its so worth mentioning again. :-)
Job well done!!! Loved it, loved it, loved it!
This was a great Bert episode! He just cracks me up. And to be honest...who here has not gotten clothes out of the laundry basket! LOL!
And glad to see Magillicuddy got the girl!
Keep up the great work!!! We all love it!!! Thanks for all the time you all put into this!!! I think I might curl up into the fetal position if VM didnt exist.

lizzie, marple, elisa, and kim-- Thanks so much for your kind words. I am SOOOOO happy you enjoyed the episode. It was actually a really fun one to write--not as "heavy" as my last one. And having gone through some of those new-parent trials and tribulations, it was fun to write about Bert's experience. (Funny story: my youngest, who was 9 mos. old at the time, once started screaming right in the middle of the Crown Jewels exhibit at the Tower of London. He had dropped his pacifier...we never found it, and I had to hightail it out of there to escape security!

Brava! *she throws roses at her feet* You rocked this one, Jen! Starbucks makes me giggle now! There are some great lines in this one but my favorite is "You'd be surprised how many people pretend to go to Mexico." Oh really, David? And you know this how? ;D So clever for Caron to use The Honeymooners, wasnt it? Hard to imagine that there actually was another couple out there just like Maddie and David...Frank and Alice had there own brand of lightning in a bottle too! Caron was an absolute genius! And so were you! You are so talented, Jen! Lock your kids in a closet and keep writing!!....oh, you know I'm kidding! Mmmwah! Connie

Thank you, my friend! Yes, seems like Frank and Alice were made to be compared to M&D! Glad I could think of an excuse to revisit them... Have a mocha something something on me...with whip!
